Starting tomorrow, 6/14/2022, The Greeneville Water Commission's crews and contractors will be closing down North College Street between East Depot Street/Academy Street and East Church Street until Thursday, 6/16/2022, while they complete pipe bursting and sewer replacement in that block. The intersection at College Street and East Depot Street/Academy Street will remain open and accessible for use as a detour around the closure. The parking lots connected to this closure will remain accessible from the Academy Street side. Please use caution while traveling around this closure for the next few days, especially on Academy Street where pedestrians may be walking to their destinations around the closure.

The map below shows this new closure and includes the other work zones. All intersections in the project area are open and make it easy to cross the Depot Street corridor. Please proceed with caution and stop in at your favorite Depot Street businesses. They're all still accessible by parking nearby and walking a short distance.
