06.01.2023 - Construction Update

The intersection at Cutler Street and Depot Street is closed while crews pour concrete and prep the area for asphalt, constructing sidewalk bump outs at the intersection.

Depot Street between Loretta Street and Cutler Street: This block will remain closed while crews continue to work on pouring concrete to install sidewalks, driveways, gutter bands, and parking stalls on this block in preparation for asphalt pouring.


Depot Street is becoming more and more accessible to pedestrians and vehicular traffic by the day. Check out this timelapse video where we walked from Cutler Street to Main Street:

Depot Street at the Cutler Street Intersection: This intersection will remain closed while crews continue to pour concrete and finishings in the intersection. Once this intersection is completely ready for the next phase, pouring asphalt, our crews will begin preparations for pouring asphalt from the Irish Street intersection all the way up to the railroad tracks towards Loretta Street.


Depot Street between Cutler Street and Irish Street: Currently open to local traffic while our crews begin concrete work in this block. Sidewalks and curbs are being installed as well as the planter boxes for future landscaping. The Federal Courthouse and the Post Office will remain accessible from Irish Street. Please proceed with caution around the fenced off areas. Here's what the intersection of Irish Street and Depot Street looks like currently:

Depot Street between Irish Street and Main Street: Remains closed as crews continue to lay pavers. Here's an updated view of the Tabletop Feature in the center of this block:

Depot Street between Main Street and College Street: Will remain accessible to local traffic but closed to through traffic. This block will be a part of the next phase and you can expect crews to move in this direction once the intersection at Cutler Street is completed. The intersection of College Street and Depot Street is open. Please use caution while accessing this area.
